Stop, Drop & Roll

We have finally made it to Minnesota to visit my in-laws! It took us two days to get here but the kids were pleasant and the trip went right along.  We have a busy vacation planned and our first stop was to the Bloomington Fire Department to see the fire trucks.  Logan had fire safety week at school last week and since my father-in-law, Russ, was a volunteer fireman for twenty years we knew it was the perfect time to take the kids to the fire station.

Then we went in to the garage to see the fire trucks...they had so many and Logan thought it was so cool.  Logan had fire safety week at school a few weeks ago and it was fun for him to continue exploring the subject of Fire Trucks and Fire Safety. 

The Captain even let Logan try on his Hat and Coat...

It was a proud day for Grandpa Russ to share his love of his past job with Logan and Emmett.  And Logan learned a lot too! 

Thanks Bloomington Fire Station 1!! We had a blast!!
